Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care including assessments and medication administration
- Perform thorough nursing assessments and document findings clearly and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other team members to execute individualized care plans
- Deliver wound care, assist with activities of daily living, and support rehab goals
- Educate patients and families on condition management and discharge planning
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
- Maintain a safe, organized environment and follow infection prevention protocols
- Support continuity of care by handing off clear, concise shift reports
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license (RN) or active LPN license if applying as LPN; must be eligible to practice in New Mexico
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS recommended depending on unit
- Previous experience in rehabilitation, med-surg, or a related care setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; reliable and professional attitude
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN ADN/BSN) required
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of nursing fundamentals and patient assessment
- Medication administration and safe IV/shot practices as appropriate for licensure
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Patient education, care planning, and discharge coordination experience
