Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults and seniors
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient status in the medical record
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize care
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure a safe environment for patients
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to provide education and support

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Mexico (or active LPN license eligible for state endorsement)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications welcomed
• Facility-required immunizations and screenings (per onboarding) required
• Clinical experience in acute, post-acute, or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a close-knit care team

Education

• LPN: Practical nursing diploma or certificate required
• RN applicants (if interested in RN opportunities): Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in patient assessment, vital signs, and basic nursing procedures
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Skilled in wound care, ADL assistance, and monitoring clinical changes
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and standard charting
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and teamwork abilities
