Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Administer medications and monitor responses accurately and safely
• Perform timely assessments and report clinical changes to the care team
• Maintain clear, concise documentation in the patient record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care and discharge planning
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed during your shift
• Promote a safe environment by following facility protocols and infection control practices

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license appropriate for practice in New Mexico
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred for RN roles
• Clinical experience in acute care or rehab environments preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently on night shift
• Ability to pass facility onboarding, background checks, and any required screenings

Education

• LPN: Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program or diploma
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) as applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid fundamentals in medication administration and patient assessments
• Familiarity with common EMR workflows and accurate documentation
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical setting and escalate concerns
• Comfort working with adult and geriatric patient populations (typical in rehab)
• Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal and time management skills
