Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care and assess patient status throughout your shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document interventions clearly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and discharge planning
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to facility policies and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or eligibility to obtain one promptly
• Licensed Practical Nurse candidates considered where appropriate; facility may accept LPN or RN per class listing
• Current BLS certification required, ACLS or PALS as applicable or preferred by unit
• Preferred 1+ year of clinical experience in acute care or relevant specialty
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a patient-focused mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Effective communication with patients, families and clinical teams
• Basic medication administration knowledge and safety practices
