Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform timely assessments and document clinical findings accurately
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient goals
• Respond to patient needs, emergencies, and changes in condition with professionalism
• Maintain accurate charting and handoff communication at shift change

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing; LPN candidates considered depending on facility needs
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or required by facility
• Comfortable and experienced working 12-hour overnight shifts
• Adaptable team player with strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to complete travel assignment onboarding and credentialing in a timely manner

Education

• Registered Nurse: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensed Practical Nurse: High school diploma or equivalent plus LPN program completion

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation expertise
• Wound care and basic procedural experience
• Electronic medical record proficiency and accurate charting
• Triage, critical thinking, and prioritization during busy overnight hours
• Collaborative communication with nursing staff, physicians, and support teams
