Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely per orders
• Monitor patient condition and document assessments, changes, and interventions
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and transitions
• Prioritize patient safety and infection control procedures on every shift
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) as applicable
• Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in New Mexico
• Relevant clinical experience in acute care settings preferred
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and adapt to facility policies

Education

• LPN: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• RN: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable with medication administration and electronic charting
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, overnight environment
• Customer-service mindset with compassion for patients and families
