Shift Type: Nights (days to be confirmed), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adult patients on assigned unit
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and escalate concerns to providers
- Perform focused assessments, discharge teaching and patient education to support recovery
- Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license — eligible to practice in New Mexico
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; other certifications welcomed
- Previous acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred but motivated new travelers are welcome
- Professional, compassionate communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks
Education
- LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (diploma or certificate)
- RN: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and patient safety skills
- Comfortable with medication administration and electronic charting
- Effective communication with patients, families, and the care team
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients during a night shift
- Basic familiarity with rehabilitation and recovery-focused care settings
