Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight); specific days vary (overnight/NOC)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient status throughout the shift
- Document care clearly and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- Support admissions, transfers and discharges as needed
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to facility policies and infection-control practices
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential (position open to LPN or RN as listed)
- Valid nursing license to practice in New Mexico (or compact license if applicable)
- Experience working in acute care or rehab settings is a plus
- Comfort and clinical competence working overnight shifts
- Strong communication, teamwork and documentation skills
- Able to meet facility onboarding and credentialing requirements for a travel contract
Education
- Nursing diploma, Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) as appropriate for RN/LPN licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Sound clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Ability to prioritize and respond effectively during busy overnight hours
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic clinical workflows
- Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families and care teams
- Adaptability to step into a new facility and integrate quickly
