Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Perform timely patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate excellent care
• Maintain clear, up-to-date clinical documentation in the patient record
• Support safe patient transfers, admissions, discharges, and patient education

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN or RN license for the state of New Mexico
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications encouraged
• Clinical experience in acute or post-acute settings preferred
• Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment

Education

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN diploma/associate/BSN, as appropriate to licensure)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment and monitoring of clinical status
• Medication administration and basic treatment management
• Proficient with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Able to prioritize tasks, think critically, and escalate when needed
• Strong teamwork, bedside manner, and patient education skills
