Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Monitor patient status and intervene promptly to promote safety and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
• Perform assessments, report changes, and escalate concerns when needed
• Educate patients and families on care needs, discharge plans and follow-up

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Mexico or compact state eligibility if applicable
• Previous clinical experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or acute settings preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or as required by unit
• Ability to work overnight shifts reliably and maintain attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; LPN diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Familiarity with charting and electronic medical record systems
• Ability to manage multiple prioritized tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic wound care, IV site monitoring, and post-op or rehab patient care
• Teamwork, empathy, and the ability to educate patients and families
