Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the assigned unit
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Document care and patient responses in the electronic medical record in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, clean care environment and adhere to infection control policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (valid in New Mexico or compact privilege where applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS) encouraged where relevant
• Prior clinical experience preferred; travel or acute care experience a plus
• Current immunizations and compliance with facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred for RNs)
• LPN candidates should hold diploma or certificate from an accredited practical nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with common inpatient procedures and protocols
• Comfortable using an electronic medical record for charting
• Excellent teamwork, prioritization and time management abilities
• Patient and family-centered communication and education
