Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients with attention and skill
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following facility protocols
- Perform thorough assessments and document findings clearly in the patient record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on condition, treatments, and discharge instructions with patience and clarity
- Prioritize safety, infection control, and quality improvement in everyday practice
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse) — must be eligible to practice in New Mexico
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Clinical experience in medical-surgical, rehab, or acute care settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to pass facility background checks and meet standard onboarding requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN as applicable to role)
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and vital sign interpretation
- Medication administration and IV/PO safety practices
- Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation and charting
- Patient education, discharge planning, and family communication
- Infection prevention, safety protocols, and clinical best practices
- Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
