Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the rehab/acute area
• Assess patient status and implement individualized care plans with clinical confidence
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document care thoroughly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly to the care team
• Support safe patient transfers, rehab goals and timely discharge planning

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license (Registered Nurse) — LPN candidates may be considered per facility needs
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Previous acute care or rehab nursing experience preferred but open to strong new grads
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet travel assignment requirements and complete facility onboarding

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN for RN; diploma for LPN as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and documentation skills
• Medication administration and care planning experience
• Comfortable working with interdisciplinary teams in a rehab/acute setting
• Ability to use electronic medical records and follow facility protocols
• Good time management, prioritization and critical thinking under pressure
