Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; schedule includes every other weekend (day shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients quickly and compassionately to prioritize care
- Perform advanced clinical procedures including U/S-guided IVs and IO insertion
- Provide trauma, stroke, cardiac and acute medical care in a fast-paced ED
- Administer medications and manage infusions using Alaris pumps and Pyxis
- Obtain and interpret EKGs and communicate critical findings to the team
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in Sunrise/Allscripts EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, techs and support staff to coordinate patient flow
- Follow evidence-based protocols and participate in unit safety and quality initiatives
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license (eligible to practice in NH)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience (required for contract labor)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications (required for contract labor)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work rotating schedules including every other weekend
- Comfortable with trauma, cardiac, stroke care and diverse patient populations
Education
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable using Sunrise/Allscripts EMR for charting and orders
- Proficient with Alaris pumps, Pyxis medication systems, Lucas Device and Hotline Rapid Infuser
- Skilled in EKG acquisition and interpretation
- Experienced with U/S-guided IV insertion and IO insertion
- Solid understanding of medical terminology and protocol-driven care
- Ability to manage patient ratios around 4:1 with flexibility during surges
