Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document care clearly and timely in the patient chart
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members and families
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring colleagues and supporting team goals

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN or LPN) in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Comfort caring for acute and post-acute patients during overnight shifts
• Strong communication, critical thinking and time-management skills
• Previous hospital or clinical experience preferred but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN ADN/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Medication administration and basic IV/infusion familiarity as appropriate to licensure
• Skilled in documentation and maintaining accurate patient records
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond calmly in urgent situations
• Comfort working with electronic medical record systems and following facility protocols
