Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a rehab/healthcare setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough assessments and document patient status in the chart
• Collaborate with the rehab team to support therapy plans and functional goals
• Monitor changes in condition and communicate effectively with providers and family
• Support safe transitions of care and discharge planning when appropriate

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in New Mexico)
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehab, or long-term care preferred
• Ability to pass required background check and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN associate/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and documentation best practices
• Skilled in patient assessment, wound care basics, and monitoring vital signs
• Comfortable working with interdisciplinary rehab teams
• Good clinical judgment, time management, and charting accuracy
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and standard nursing workflows
