Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe patient care and advocate for patient needs
• Perform thorough assessments and document clinical findings clearly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) or eligibility for RN licensure in New Mexico
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications welcomed
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and adapting to fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
• Previous acute care or rehab experience preferred but not required

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) for RN applicants
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program acceptable if applying as LPN

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
• Teamwork mindset and effective communication with patients and staff
