Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, safe nursing care to patients during the night shift
• Perform assessments, monitor vitals, and report changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the chart
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Support patient and family education, promoting recovery and well-being
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment and follow infection control protocols
• Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate per facility policy

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse) — New Mexico licensure preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience working night shifts in an acute or post-acute setting is a plus
• Ability to pass required background checks, drug screening, and facility onboarding
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Education

• LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or certificate
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical documentation
• Medication administration and safe practice
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Basic wound care and medication wound management
• Time management, prioritization, and delegation
• Clear communication with patients, families, and care teams
