Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in the Uptown Health/Rehab area
• Perform thorough assessments, document findings, and escalate changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
• Support patient mobility, rehabilitation activities, and discharge planning
• Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate effectively with families and staff

Qualifications

• Active LPN license or RN license in New Mexico (LPN and RN candidates welcome)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Relevant clinical experience in rehabilitation, long-term care, or medical-surgical settings preferred
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (for LPN) or accredited ADN/BSN program (for RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration, and infection control
• Comfortable with patient assessment, wound care, and basic rehab support
• Skilled at clear clinical documentation and handoffs
• Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork skills
