Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to diverse adult populations
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor vital signs and report clinical changes promptly
• Document care clearly and timely to maintain high-quality patient records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate effective care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge plans

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN or RN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact/state-eligible) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred where applicable
• Previous acute care or rehab experience preferred but open to motivated clinicians
• Proof of immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment and teamwork skills

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• RN: Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Familiarity with electronic medical record charting
• Ability to prioritize, triage and escalate changes in patient condition
• Comfort working in fast-paced, collaborative clinical environments
