Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Perform thorough patient assessments and escalate changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document care clearly in the patient record and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with professionalism and attention to detail
• Help maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection prevention protocols

Qualifications

• Current and active LPN license (eligible for work in New Mexico preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight hours and managing common inpatient nursing duties
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Prior acute care or rehabilitation experience a plus

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)
• Additional education (ADN/BSN) accepted for RNs if applying in that classification

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid skills in medication administration and patient monitoring
• Patient assessment and clinical observation for overnight care
• Accurate documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
• Infection control practices and safety-conscious care
• Ability to prioritize tasks and collaborate with nursing staff and therapists
