Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients with professionalism and skill
• Administer medications, treatments, and document patient responses accurately
• Monitor patient status and promptly report changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education to support recovery
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians to create and follow care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Mexico required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Prior LPN experience in a related clinical setting preferred but new grads welcome
• Ability to lift and assist patients as needed and perform physical aspects of care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program or vocational nursing diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment skills and attention to detail
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Patient-focused care and strong bedside manner
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
