Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in the assigned area
• Perform timely assessments and document changes in condition accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families about care plans, treatments and follow-up needs
• Maintain accurate and professional documentation while adhering to regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in good standing (LPN or RN acceptable as listed)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
• Comfortable working evening and overnight shifts
• Professional, dependable, and able to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Licensed Practical Nurse - completion of an accredited LPN program
• Registered Nurse - Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Proficient charting and documentation practices
• Good medication administration and safety awareness
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy shifts
• Clear communication skills with patients, families and the care team
