Shift Type: Rotating schedule (includes rotating weekends), 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM (12-hour night shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients quickly and accurately in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Provide patient-centered care, administer medications, and perform emergency interventions
- Prioritize multiple patients and tasks to ensure safe, efficient care
- Coordinate with physicians, paramedics, and support staff to streamline patient flow
- Document assessments and interventions promptly and thoroughly in the Meditech EMR
- Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain situational awareness of the unit and advocate for patient safety
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) title as indicated by the role
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
- Minimum: greater than 1.5 years of ER experience (candidates without this will not be considered)
- 2+ years ER experience and Meditech EHR experience are preferred
- Strong prioritization and time management skills and a team-player attitude
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency nursing fundamentals and triage principles
- Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical record
- Patient-centered care and effective bedside communication
- Excellent prioritization, time management, and multitasking under pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused emergency department
- Familiarity with common ED equipment and 4:1 patient ratio environment
