Shift Type: Rotating nights, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night); schedule includes weekends and is rotating (exact days to be discussed during interview)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients
- Monitor fetal status and maternal well-being using AWONN and GE fetal monitoring systems
- Circulate and assist confidently during c-sections and support vaginal deliveries
- Manage post-delivery recovery care for mothers and assist with high-acuity cases
- Document care accurately and efficiently in Meditech and CPN to maintain clear patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure safe outcomes
- Support unit staffing by floating to antepartum as needed and mentoring bedside colleagues
Qualifications
- Current RN license (state of practice) in good standing
- Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate (required)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery care (explicit unit requirement)
- Proven experience circulating in c-section, managing vaginal deliveries and post-delivery recovery care
- Comfortable using Meditech and GE fetal monitoring systems; CPN experience is a plus
- Ability to float to antepartum unit within Women’s services as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- High-risk obstetrical care and maternal-fetal monitoring
- AWONN and GE fetal monitoring systems
- Intraoperative circulation for c-sections and labor support
- Meditech electronic documentation and CPN charting workflows
- Triaging OBED and managing 2:1 or 3:1 patient ratios when required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork in emergent situations
