Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality telemetry monitoring and compassionate direct patient care for a 20-bed unit
• Perform phlebotomy and timely clinical procedures to support accurate diagnostics
• Deliver wound care, tracheostomy care, and NG tube management with precision and attention
• Document patient care and clinical findings in Meditech in a clear, timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and execute patient-centered plans
• Maintain safe patient ratios and escalate changes in condition promptly to the care team
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring colleagues and supporting teamwork

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, with telemetry or med/surg experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Comfortable using Meditech or similar EMR systems
• Hands-on experience with phlebotomy, wound care, tracheostomy care, and NG tube management
• Willingness to work night shifts and maintain open schedule availability (5 days/week) with every other weekend coverage

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• BLS certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
• Strong clinical assessment and prioritization abilities
• Proficient with Meditech EMR documentation
• Skilled in phlebotomy, wound care techniques, tracheostomy management, and NG tube care
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management
• Patient advocacy and compassionate bedside manner
