Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, schedule varies; includes 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks (12-hour night shifts)

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse, acute patient population
- Triage and assess patients quickly, prioritizing care based on clinical need
- Manage trauma and high-acuity cases in a Level II trauma ED with a 1:4 zone patient ratio
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, paramedics and mid-shift staff to deliver coordinated care
- Use GE monitors and MediTech EMR to document assessments, interventions and patient progress
- Maintain excellent patient experience skills—communicate clearly and compassionately
- Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state licensure required)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (ED experience strongly preferred)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
- Comfort with trauma care and ED holding/boarding scenarios
- High-energy, self-motivated, and amicable personality that thrives in fast-paced environments
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient experience and bedside communication skills
- Familiarity with MediTech electronic medical record systems
- Proficiency reading and responding to GE monitoring equipment
- Ability to manage multiple acute patients and prioritize care effectively
- Teamwork and clear handoff/communication skills in a busy emergency department
