Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide specialized, compassionate nursing care to neonates in a Level II-III NICU environment
- Manage advanced respiratory support including ventilators, HFOV, CPAP and NIPPV
- Perform and assist with procedures such as central line care, ostomy management, and post-op neonatal support
- Monitor and respond to complex patient conditions with accurate assessment and timely interventions
- Document patient care thoroughly and efficiently using CPN and Meditech EMR systems
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Mentor and support unit staff to promote teamwork and a high standard of clinical practice
Qualifications
- Active RN (Registered Nurse) credential
- Minimum 1 year NICU nursing experience (Level II-III required)
- BLS and NRP certifications (required)
- Experience with neonatal respiratory support and ventilator management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced NICU with patient ratios ranging 1:1 to 1:4 (rare)
- EMR experience (CPN and/or Meditech) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of neonatal respiratory therapies: conventional vents, HFOV, CPAP, NIPPV
- Skilled in central line care and other critical neonatal procedures
- Ability to care for micro-preemie and complex neonatal populations
- Proficient documentation and charting in CPN and Meditech
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
