Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality critical care to adult ICU patients with compassion and precision
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status, recognizing and escalating changes quickly
• Administer medications and titrate drips safely according to protocols
• Manage ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and other advanced ICU modalities
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and multidisciplinary team members to execute care plans
• Lead timely and accurate shift handoffs and maintain thorough charting in the EMR
• Act decisively in emergencies and support unit-level quality and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (state license or compact where applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience (critical care experience required)
• BLS required; ACLS preferred or willing to obtain promptly
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with critical care monitoring and interpretation of telemetry
• Experience with ventilator management and respiratory support strategies
• Familiarity with vasoactive medications and titration practices
• Accurate electronic medical record documentation and medication administration
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work effectively under pressure
• Excellent patient and family communication skills
