Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality general X-ray and fluoroscopic imaging studies across ED and inpatient settings
• Operate C-arm in the OR for ortho and spine procedures, ensuring accurate intraoperative imaging
• Provide portable radiography services as needed across units and trauma bays
• Document exams and chart in Epic and manage images in Fuji PACS with attention to detail
• Collaborate with radiologists, PAs and the care team to support timely patient diagnosis and treatment
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, escalating issues to biomedical engineering when needed
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure patient comfort and positioning during procedures
• Participate in orientation, equipment overviews and unit-specific training to support smooth onboarding

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• BLS (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience (preferred experience with OR/C-arm procedures)
• Comfort and demonstrated ability to cover OR procedures; Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Proficiency with Epic charting and Fuji PACS preferred
• Willingness to be in-state for the week of orientation
• Driver's license submitted with application; radius requirement noted (60 miles)

Knowledge & Skills

• Fluoroscopy and portable radiography techniques
• C-arm operation and intraoperative imaging for ortho/spine cases
• Epic clinical charting workflows
• Fuji PACS image management
• Familiarity with GE C-arms, Carestream and Shimadzu portables
• Strong radiation safety and patient positioning skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ED and acute care environment
