Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and patient changes accurately
- Support safe transfers, mobility, and proper positioning to prevent injury
- Assist the care team with treatments and follow care plans precisely
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control procedures
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Document patient care and observations in the electronic record in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) required
- Active CNA license or eligibility to obtain licensure in New Mexico
- Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care and work as part of a team
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ADL support, safe patient handling, and mobility assistance
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures and vital sign assessment
- Familiarity with infection control and standard precautions
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Team-focused mindset and dedication to patient dignity and comfort
