Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners and perform high-quality CT imaging studies with attention to safety and patient comfort
- Apply fluoroscopy skills when required and follow state-specific fluoro regulations
- Collaborate with radiologists, OR staff, and ER teams to support timely diagnostic care
- Maintain accurate patient records and chart in Cerner following hospital policies
- Prepare patients for procedures, assess contraindications, and ensure proper use of contrast when applicable
- Assist with C-arm operations in the OR and support trauma and emergency imaging needs
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced diagnostic radiology environment while prioritizing patient safety
Qualifications
- Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II with CT experience (Rad Tech II must have CT experience)
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Fluoroscopy credentialing required per California state regulations
- COVID-19 vaccination required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
- Level II trauma experience preferred but not required; must be comfortable in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work night shifts and be a self-starter who can hit the ground running
Education
- Rad Tech I or Rad Tech II credential with CT specialization (per job requirements)
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with CT imaging protocols and CT safety practices
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Familiarity with Philips iPatient 64 and Philips big bore 16 equipment
- C-arm operation experience for OR imaging
- Comfortable working inpatient and outpatient cases, ER and OR environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in high-acuity settings
