Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside nursing for patients during overnight hours
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the chart
• Perform focused patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to create and follow care plans
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with clear, timely documentation

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN or RN license (eligible to work in New Mexico)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or obtained upon hire
• Current clinical experience in acute or long-term care settings is a plus
• Professional, patient-centered attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and escalate concerns appropriately

Education

• LPN: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• RN: ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and vital-sign interpretation
• Medication administration and safety practices
• Charting and electronic medical record (EMR) familiarity
• Wound care, ADL support, and basic nursing procedures
• Teamwork, time management, and clear patient/family communication
