Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the night shift
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to the care team
• Support admissions, discharges, and transfers with efficiency and care
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to deliver coordinated care
• Educate patients and families on care plans and safe practices
• Maintain clear, timely electronic charting and handoffs at shift change

Qualifications

• Active LPN licensure (or RN where applicable) in good standing
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Clinical experience in acute or long-term care preferred
• Ability to work overnight hours (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) and manage typical night-shift responsibilities
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program (or accredited nursing program for RNs)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and basic treatment competencies
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond calmly in fast-paced situations
• Teamwork mindset and clear communication with interdisciplinary staff
• Basic wound care and IV site observation knowledge
