Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Support residents with mobility, bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting needs
- Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Document care accurately and timely according to facility policies
- Follow infection control procedures and state-mandated COVID vaccination protocols
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team to promote resident comfort and dignity
- Participate in shift handoffs and communicate resident needs clearly to peers
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Colorado CNA certification (required)
- Long-term care (LTC) / Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience (required)
- State-mandated COVID vaccination (required)
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Positive, patient-first attitude and reliable attendance
- Open to shared furnished housing or provide your own local housing
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and providing bedside care
- Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members
- Basic clinical observation skills and ability to report changes accurately
- Familiarity with documentation practices in long-term care settings
- Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
- Team-oriented mindset and adaptability in a busy SNF environment
