Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care during night shifts, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer medications accurately and document administration according to facility policy
• Perform assessments and monitor changes in resident condition, escalating concerns to the team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including contributions to care plans and MDS when applicable
• Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary staff to support continuity of care overnight
• Uphold infection control practices and facility standards to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Colorado LPN license required
• Practical LPN experience in Long-Term Care is required
• MDS experience preferred — a strong plus
• Comfortable working overnight hours and managing typical LTC night responsibilities
• Able to accept shared, furnished housing (housing rules: no pets, no smoking)

Education

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — current Colorado LPN license (unrestricted) required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid medication administration and documentation skills
• Knowledge of Long-Term Care best practices and resident-focused care
• Familiarity with MDS processes and long-term care documentation (preferred)
• Strong assessment, observation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently overnight and escalate clinical issues appropriately
