Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Day shift (specific days to be confirmed with recruiter)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate bedside care to residents and patients, preserving dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and feeding
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes promptly to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and positioning to prevent injury and maintain comfort
- Communicate clearly with nursing staff and families to ensure coordinated, person-centered care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Document care activities promptly and accurately in the patient chart or EMR
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
- Active, unrestricted healthcare licensure as required by the state where you will practice
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and skilled in basic patient care tasks
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed CNA program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient hygiene and personal care best practices
- Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Basic infection prevention and control
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and accurate documentation
- Time management, observation skills, and the ability to follow care plans
