Shift Type: Days to be confirmed, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and compassion
- Provide safe mobility assistance and transfers using proper body mechanics
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to the nursing team
- Support mealtime and nutritional needs, while encouraging independence where possible
- Document care accurately and promptly in the facility charting system
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, offering emotional support
Qualifications
- Current GNA or state-certified Nursing Assistant credential
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by the facility
- Clear background check and ability to complete facility onboarding requirements
- Comfort working with geriatric populations; prior long-term care experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED; completion of a state-approved GNA/CNA program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and resident-centered practices
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and use of mobility equipment
- Basic vital signs measurement and clinical observation skills
- Familiarity with charting and care documentation (paper or electronic)
- Understanding of infection control, HIPAA, and patient privacy best practices
- Compassionate communication and the ability to work well under modest pressure
