Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams with accuracy and compassion
- Operate tomosynthesis equipment and apply 3D stereo techniques when appropriate
- Ensure excellent patient positioning and image quality to support accurate diagnoses
- Provide clear, reassuring patient education before and during imaging procedures
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation and communicate findings to the care team
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to deliver seamless care
Qualifications
- CRT(M) certification required
- ARRT (M) registration required
- Tomosynthesis (Tomo) training required
- 3D stereo training is a strong plus
- Must be fully vaccinated prior to submission (per client requirement)
- Comfortable working day and evening shifts and occasional Saturdays
Education
- Required certifications: CRT(M) and ARRT (M)
- Completion of mammography training program or equivalent clinical experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep familiarity with mammography techniques and tomosynthesis workflows
- Strong patient-focused communication and comfort positioning patients
- Attention to image quality, detail, and adherence to safety standards
- Ability to follow protocols and work collaboratively within a radiology team
- Adaptability to work varied shift lengths (8- and 10-hour shifts)
