Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging for Outpatient (OP) and Express Care patients with accuracy and care
• Operate and troubleshoot CT/X-ray equipment while maintaining imaging quality standards
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including proper positioning and clear communication
• Verify patient identification, imaging orders, and document procedures accurately in records
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times
• Assist with patient handling and transfers, including push/pull tasks up to 50 lbs
• Collaborate with the clinical team to prioritize patient needs and support efficient workflow
• Maintain certification and required credentials, and participate in ongoing training

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) registration — mandatory
• Active ODH License (Ohio Department of Health) — mandatory
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association — mandatory
• Active AART CT certification — required
• One year of imaging experience preferred
• Experience in Outpatient (OP) and Express Care imaging settings is a plus
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and safely push/pull up to 50 lbs

Knowledge & Skills

• CT scanning techniques and cross-sectional anatomy knowledge
• Digital X-ray imaging and positioning skills
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Radiation safety principles and best practices
• Basic life support and emergency response awareness
• Familiarity with electronic health records and imaging documentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
