Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging for patients at outpatient and Express Care locations
• Position patients correctly and use appropriate imaging protocols to ensure diagnostic-quality studies
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely while adhering to radiation safety guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to deliver timely patient care
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient and imaging records in the EMR
• Provide compassionate patient education and reassurance throughout imaging procedures
• Assist with equipment care and basic troubleshooting to maintain smooth operations

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (R) registration
• Active ARRT CT certification (AART CT) — required
• Ohio Department of Health (ODH) License — required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association only — required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant radiology/CT experience (preferred at least one year)
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods and to push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT and general X-ray imaging techniques and protocols
• Strong patient positioning and assessment skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety and infection control practices
• Familiarity with scanner operation and routine quality control
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and imaging software
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer-service skills
