Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant, assisting with activities of daily living
• Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Document resident care thoroughly and timely to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Assist with meal service and nutrition monitoring, noting any concerns and reporting them
• Participate in team huddles and collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver individualized care plans
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and visitors

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential
• Must be able to start the assignment on 2026-01-19 and complete through 2026-04-20 (14-week contract)
• Reliable transportation required (explicitly stated by facility)
• Willingness to work every other weekend as part of the schedule
• Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved LNA training program and active LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in basic resident care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and observational reporting
• Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
• Good documentation and time-management skills
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
