Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a Licensed Nursing Assistant, assisting with activities of daily living
- Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Document resident care thoroughly and timely to ensure continuity and quality of care
- Assist with meal service and nutrition monitoring, noting any concerns and reporting them
- Participate in team huddles and collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and visitors
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential
- Must be able to start the assignment on 2026-01-19 and complete through 2026-04-20 (14-week contract)
- Reliable transportation required (explicitly stated by facility)
- Willingness to work every other weekend as part of the schedule
- Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved LNA training program and active LNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in basic resident care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and observational reporting
- Knowledge of infection control and resident safety practices
- Good documentation and time-management skills
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and families
