Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for assigned patients
• Assess patient condition, monitor vitals, and document changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and execute care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with facility standards

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland or compact license as applicable
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred where applicable
• Previous clinical nursing experience preferred; confident in med-surg and patient assessments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to pass facility background checks and meet onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Basic critical thinking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to educate patients and family members in a clear, empathetic way
