Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support certified nurses with patient transfers, mobility, and safe positioning
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the patient chart and electronic records
• Promote patient safety, dignity, and comfort through compassionate care
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Active or eligible for CNA certification in Pennsylvania
• Recent direct patient care experience preferred
• Up-to-date immunizations, background check, and drug screen as required by facility
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and comfort with ADLs
• Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Basic charting and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Infection control practices and proper PPE use
• Compassionate bedside manner and clear communication
