Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing and toileting
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote dignity and independence
• Observe and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
• Measure and document vital signs, intake/output and other routine observations accurately
• Support safe mobility, transfers and fall-prevention measures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Current state authorization to practice as a CNA in Pennsylvania (required)
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Practical knowledge of ADLs and resident care routines
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and safety practices
• Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks during a busy shift
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills with residents and families
