Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
• Perform safe transfers, positioning, and ambulation support
• Take and record vital signs and basic observations accurately and timely
• Document care in the chart or electronic record clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver person-centered care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or required by facility
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required immunizations
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift and adapting to facility routines
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in resident assistance, transfers, and mobility support
• Able to take accurate vital signs and recognize changes in condition
• Familiarity with documentation best practices and basic charting
• Good interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and families
• Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and resident rights
