Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes promptly to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility support while promoting patient independence
• Support infection control and safety procedures to maintain a clean, secure environment
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
• Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through communication and empathy

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Comfortable working evenings and adaptable to facility scheduling needs
• Prior CNA or direct care experience preferred but new grads with strong teamwork and compassion encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; completed CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside manner skills
• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe patient handling
• Good communication and teamwork with clinical staff and families
• Time management and the ability to prioritize in a busy setting
• Attention to detail for documentation and following care plans
