Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living to keep residents safe and comfortable
• Take and record vital signs and observe changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly to the nursing team
• Support mobility and rehabilitation activities under the direction of licensed staff
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing and maintaining patient dignity and independence
• Document care accurately and timely in resident charts and electronic records
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and support staff to create a consistent, person-centered experience

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Current state CNA listing or ability to transfer/obtain Pennsylvania CNA credentials
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing environments
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completed state-approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with resident hygiene, transfers and mobility assistance
• Ability to take accurate vitals and recognize changes in patient condition
• Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
• Team collaboration and clear, respectful communication with residents and families
