Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor resident condition and report changes promptly to the nursing team
• Help with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices to protect resident safety
• Support mealtime, hygiene, and comfort needs with dignity and respect
• Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with peers and supervisors
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that prioritizes resident well-being

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — active and in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
• Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a patient-centered approach

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care best practices
• Strong observation and communication skills for reporting changes in condition
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs during shift
• Basic charting and documentation skills
