Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and toileting needs
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and changes in condition accurately
• Communicate important observations and changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe resident transfers and fall prevention efforts
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents
• Participate in care planning and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to meet resident goals

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (state certification required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB testing as required by facility policy
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Previous CNA experience preferred; new graduates who meet certification and training requirements are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
• Strong observation and documentation skills for accurate charting
• Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
• Good communication skills with residents, families, and care teams
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced long-term care setting
• Team player attitude and a compassionate bedside manner
